· Based on the operational orientation of the department, based on the number of customers to serve and the service standards required, propose to the Leaders the appropriate organizational structure and staffing. Plan to recruit additional personnel if needed.
· Coordinate and organize appointments, meetings, and training classes to ensure plans are updated, tracked, and communicated in a timely manner.
· Assign responsibilities to shifts and teams of the HSKP department appropriately. Supervise shift division and human resource allocation in each shift to ensure the department's service quality.
· Update information about the number of guests staying at the hotel, events during the day/week/month/year to have a plan to prepare human resources, supplies, goods to serve guests...
· Control the ordering of supplies and goods of the department
· Control the delivery of goods
· Control the storage and use of goods in all warehouses of the HSKP department
· Research and propose to leaders to approve more reasonable processes for placing, delivering, storing and managing goods - For example: linen delivery process between the laundry department and the outside laundry house
· Regularly check and monitor cleaning procedures in rooms and public areas as well as the quality of staff's work.
· Working and coordinating with other departments to ensure that the responsible job of the department meets target and goals.
· Coordinate with the Chief Engineer to plan regular and unscheduled maintenance and repairs for living room areas as well as public areas.
· Organize room delivery and receipt with the Technical department after repair
· Responsible for managing technical facilities and assets of the Housekeeping department. When detecting any damage, you must immediately report IT to the hotel's Technical Department for timely repair. Make an alternative plan
· Responsible for the inventory of tools and supplies to serve guests (linen items, set up items in the living room...). Make sure there are always enough items to serve guests.
·Periodically organize inspections and evaluate the level of work completion of officers and employees. Prepare a training plan for resource officers for the department
· Comply with the daily, weekly, and monthly reporting regime prescribed by the Labor officer in charge
· Participate in department and company meetings and training programs when requested.
· Perform other tasks when assigned by superiors.
· Have the right to propose rewards to subordinate employees according to company regulations. Suggestions/recommendations must have valid grounds and reasons and be presented to the Labor directly in charge in the first week of the month.
· Have the right and obligation to propose disciplinary action to subordinate employees when they violate labor discipline/rules/regulations of the Company.
· Must strictly follow trained troubleshooting procedures.
· Responsible for instructing new employees: workplace, job description, job regulations or related instructions, how to use equipment... so employees can perform their jobs .
· Manage Working Regulations of Underlying Employees: Responsible for mastering the Working Regulations of subordinated employees and propose additional adjustments and changes when necessary.
· Minimum 5 years of experience as similar postion in hotels, resorts or high-end restaurants.
· Degree of Hospitality Management or equivalent. Fluent communication in English and/or other language is preferred
· Understanding of PMS, Microsoft Office
· Communication, upselling, guest relation skills
