IE Manager (Garment, $4000, Id21261)

• Our client is a foreign invested company, now looking for an IE Manager(Garment, $4000, ID21261):
• LEAN Implementation: Implement and sustain LEAN manufacturing techniques (including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Six Sigma) to elevate production efficiency.
• Workflow Analysis: Analyze production workflows to identify and execute improvements in time, cost, and resource utilization.
• SOP Development: Develop, standardize, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure high consistency and efficiency across all production lines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to maximize overall operational effectiveness.
• Time-Motion Studies: Conduct thorough work-study and time-motion analysis to optimize labor utilization and achieve precise line balancing.
• Automation & Innovation: Develop and implement automation and process control systems where applicable.
• KPI Tracking: Monitor and analyze critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), efficiency rates, and defect rates.
• Training & Mentorship: Train, mentor, and foster a continuous improvement mindset among production staff regarding LEAN methodologies.
• Bottleneck Resolution: Identify manufacturing bottlenecks and provide data-driven solutions to enhance productivity and minimize machine downtime.
• Material Optimization: Lead key initiatives to reduce waste and maximize fabric/material utilization.
• Maintenance Alignment: Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure high equipment reliability and robust preventive maintenance planning.
• Industry Trends: Stay updated on emerging technologies and global best practices in industrial engineering within the garment industry.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile/Garment Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer specifically within the garment/apparel manufacturing industry.
• Certifications: Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or formal LEAN Manufacturing certification is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:

           • Deep knowledge of garment production processes, line balancing, and GSD (General Sewing Data).

           • Proficiency in MS Excel, data analysis tools, and AutoCAD/GGT (preferred).

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent communication, leadership capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.
