Mô tả công việc
- Source IT vendors/suppliers and collect quotations or proposals based on specific technical and business requirements
- Evaluate vendor qualifications, capabilities, and service offerings, especially in IT hardware, software, and technical services
- Negotiate terms and conditions (price, delivery, payment, warranty, etc.) to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality
- Process Purchase Orders and Contracts in line with company policies and procedures
- Follow up on purchase orders, track shipment progress, and coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage procurement risks and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or service gaps
- Work closely with the Procurement Director to support the development of annual procurement plans, strategies, and continuous process improvements
- Control and monitor procurement expenses against approved budgets; contribute to cost-saving initiatives and budget planning
- Maintain and update procurement database, price lists, and vendor records
- Stay updated on IT market trends and pricing to support informed purchasing decisions
- Provide regular updates on shipment schedules to relevant internal departments
- Handle ad-hoc procurement tasks as assigned.
Yêu cầu công việc
- 1–2 years of proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar purchasing role, preferably in the IT industry
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and procedures
- Solid knowledge of IT products, services, and vendor landscape is highly preferred
- Demonstrated negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement-related software or tools
- Good command of English (written and spoken) for communicating with international vendors and handling technical documentation
