Job Summary:

The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for the testing and validation of software components for intelligent cockpit products and Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) features, such as Around View Monitoring (AVM). This role involves setting up test environments, executing test cases, analyzing results, and generating comprehensive test reports.

Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain testing environments for intelligent cockpit products and AVM software.

Conduct functional testing based on predefined test cases, accurately recording test results.

Generate comprehensive test reports summarizing test results and identifying defects.

Perform smoke testing for new software versions to ensure basic functionality.

Conduct regression testing to verify the resolution of defects and ensure no new issues are introduced.

Execute non-functional testing, including stability, compatibility, and performance testing of the complete vehicle system.

Collaborate with developers to report and track defects to resolution.

Skills & Experience:

Must-Have:

Experience with software testing methodologies and techniques.

Ability to create and execute test cases based on requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in documenting test results and generating test reports.

Good-to-Have:

Experience testing automotive infotainment systems.

Familiarity with AVM or other ADAS features.

Experience with automated testing tools.

Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
