[Production Internship Program 2026] – Sonion Vietnam
Sonion Vietnam is looking for final-year students to join our Production Internship Program 2026, offering hands-on experience in a modern manufacturing environment covering Data, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Engineering, and HSE/ESG.
1️⃣ Data Analyst Intern:
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze production data from manufacturing lines and cross-functional teams.
- Support routine and ad-hoc KPI reporting, including Output, Yield, FRY, Productivity, OEE, Capacity & Manpower Utilization, Overtime, and Inventory.
- Assist in building and maintaining performance dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Write and optimize basic SQL queries; support data integration from MES, ERP, Cadena, or related systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma) through data analysis and insights.
- Prepare data and reports to support ISO audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Collaborate with CI, IT, and L&D teams on data standardization, training materials, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in digital transformation / smart manufacturing projects, including automated data collection and system optimization.
2️⃣ Continuous Improvement Intern:
- SOS record & CT analysis
- Propose and develop new design improvements to enhance existing designs
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Skills in recognizing opportunities and developing creative ideas for process improvement
3️⃣ Quality Measurement Intern:
- Perform dimensional measurements for product samples (CP, FA, routine, and ad-hoc samples) in accordance with engineering drawings, Work Instructions (WI), SOPs, and Control Plans.
- Operate and maintain measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, optical microscopes, VMS, and CMM (if applicable).
- Ensure measurement conditions (equipment status, environment, timing, and methods) comply with defined requirements.
- Accurately record, analyze, and report measurement results with full traceability.
- Identify, evaluate, and promptly escalate:
- Out-of-specification (NG) measurement results
- Abnormal or inconsistent measurement data
- Risks related to non-compliance or improper measurement practice
- Coordinate with Production and relevant departments to resolve measurement and quality issues.
- Strictly comply with QMS requirements, safety regulations, and data integrity principles.
4️⃣ Technical Support Intern:
- Prepare technical drawings for equipment and tools
- Propose and develop new design improvements to enhance existing designs
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
5️⃣ HSE & ESG Intern:
1. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Support
- Assist in scheduling and participating in HSE inspections at production lines and working areas.
- Record non-conformities, follow up on corrective actions, and support relevant departments during implementation.
2. Reporting and Documentation
- Support data collection and preparation of post-audit / inspection reports.
- Update and maintain HSE records and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
3. HSE Training and Communication
- Assist in organizing HSE training sessions, including occupational safety, fire prevention and firefighting (PCCC), and environmental topics.
- Support the development and updating of training materials, guidelines, posters, and HSE communication content.
- Carry out communication activities to raise HSE awareness across the factory.
4. Other Duties
- Support HSE improvement programs, 5S activities, and risk assessments.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the HSE Officer / Manager.
1️⃣ Data Analyst Intern:
Required
- Final-year student
- Available to work full-time during administrative hours for at least 4 days per week
- Strong interest and passion in digitalization, especially Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps
Optional
- Basic knowledge of digitalization tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Major in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Industrial Management
2️⃣ Continuous Improvement Intern:
Required
- Final-year student
- Available to work full-time during administrative hours for at least 4 days per week
- Strong interest and passion in Lean, Kaizens, Cycle time Analysis
Optional
- Basic knowledge of Lean basic
- Major in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Industrial Management
3️⃣ Quality Measurement Intern:
Required
- Final-year student
- Available to work full-time during working shifts for at least 4 days per week
- Strong interest in quality systems, including QC, QA, PE, and measurement activities
- Basic knowledge of:
- Dimensional measurement, tolerances, and GD&T fundamentals
- CP/CPK concepts and sampling requirements
- Work Instructions (WI), SOPs, and Control Plan structures
- Proficient in using precision measurement instruments
Optional
- College or Bachelor’s degree in:
- Industrial Engineering or Quality Management, or
- Other related engineering disciplines
- Detail-oriented, careful, and highly responsible
- Ability to work under time pressure and manage high sample volumes
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong awareness of risk management
4️⃣ Technical Support Intern:
- Final-year student
- Available to work full-time during administrative hours for at least 4 days per week
- Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D mechanical design
- Proficient in using AutoCAD or DraftSight
- Major in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Manufacturing)
5️⃣ HSE & ESG Intern:
Required
- Final-year student
- Available to work full-time during working shifts for at least 4 days per week
- Strong interest in occupational safety, environmental protection, and sustainable development
