Mô tả công việc
Develop fashion-forward and commercially viable product designs in close coordination with Category Development teams and suppliers, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, market trends, cost requirements, and quality standards.
Trend Research & Design Brief Development
- Align with Category Development Manager to understand product needs and business priorities
- Conduct seasonal market and trend research to define creative directions
- Select suitable fabrics, prints, and materials in line with style, quality, and pricing targets
- Develop and share clear design briefs with 2-3 suppliers for quotation and prototyping
Product Design & Prototyping Coordination
- Review and provide feedback on 3D designs and initial prototypes
- Compare samples across suppliers based on cost, quality, and MOQ feasibility
- Finalize fabrics, colors, trims, and print techniques jointly with suppliers and Category Manager
- Manage sample fitting sessions and provide feedback for adjustments until final approval
Supplier Interaction & Cost Alignment
- Collaborate with sourcing and suppliers to ensure technical feasibility and cost efficiency
- Monitor adherence to design specifications and timelines during development cycles
Yêu cầu công việc
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field
Experience: 3 years in fashion design, preferably in softline retail (e.g., apparel)
Trend Expertise: Proven track record in market and trend research
Skills & Competencies
Design Skills: Proficient in 3D design tools and prototyping processes
Material Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabrics, prints, and trims
Collaboration: Good communication to work with Category Managers and suppliers
Analytical Thinking: Ability to compare samples based on cost and quality.
