Representative Office of a foreign pharmaceutical company in Vietnam is seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Executive to support the expansion of its B2B pharmaceutical business in Vietnam.

The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, coordinating commercial activities, and supporting contract and export/import documentation.

Job Summary

The Business Development Executive will play an active role in developing new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with distributors, healthcare partners, and customers in the pharmaceutical sector.

The successful candidate is expected to be proactive, commercially driven, and capable of independently following up business opportunities while coordinating commercial operations and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Customer Acquisition

  • Proactively identify and approach potential customers, distributors, and business partners. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective B2B customers. 
  • Follow up sales leads, business opportunities, and customer inquiries in a timely manner. 
  • Conduct market visits, customer meetings, and business presentations when required. 
  • Support expansion of pharmaceutical product portfolios and market coverage in Vietnam. 

Commercial & Customer Coordination

  • Coordinate daily communication with customers, distributors, and overseas principals regarding orders, product supply, pricing, and commercial matters. 
  • Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, contracts, and related business documentation. 
  • Follow up contract execution, customer requirements, and business agreements. 
  • Maintain proper records of customer communications and commercial documents. 

Export/Import & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, freight forwarders, and internal teams regarding shipment schedules and product supply. 
  • Prepare and follow up export/import documentation including invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, and related paperwork. 
  • Monitor delivery timelines and support smooth supply chain operations. 

Market Research & Business Support

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis related to pharmaceutical and healthcare products. 
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and potential business opportunities. 
  • Prepare sales reports, market updates, and business presentations. 

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to support business operations. 
  • Support business meetings, exhibitions, and commercial activities when required. 
  • Perform other duties assigned by management. 

Yêu cầu công việc

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, International Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related fields. 
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, B2B sales, commercial operations, or related fields. 
  • Strong business development mindset with ability to proactively approach and develop customers. 
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical devices, or FMCG industry is preferred. 
  • Good understanding of commercial documentation and import/export procedures is an advantage. 
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. 
  • Good command of English (written and spoken). 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network in pharmaceutical distribution or healthcare sector is a plus. 
  • Experience working with multinational companies or overseas partners. 

Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and GMP/GDP standards.
