Manufacturing Engineer

• Work with the engineering team at Stickley headquarters to create manufacturing routings/Process steps for the plant in Vietnam.
• Responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods including supporting the implementation of changes as directed.
• Actively participate in LEAN / continuous improvement projects; partner with Production teams to improve process flow and elimination of waste    
• Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions. 
• Ensure cost effective manufacturing through early development of all essential figures and of fixtures, processes, tooling, ETC.
• Utilizes blueprints and technical/engineered drawings. 
• Stays up to date with a variety of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Works independently and displays a professional attitude and represent the company with integrity and professionalism.

• Processing New Files from the U.S.:
  Review incoming files.
  Set up in Fourth Shift.
  Create packaging drawings.
  List die-cut templates.
  Send revision emails.
  Prepare reports.
   
• Handling Sample Files from the U.S.:
  Set up in Fourth Shift.
  Create packaging drawings.
  List die-cut templates.
  Track sample production.
  Support material preparation & packaging.
  Prepare reports.
  Send revision emails.
• Processing Production & Management Revisions:
  Receive and update revisions from production & management.
  Modify BILI accordingly.
  Notify the U.S. team via email.
• Production Monitoring & Technical Support:
  Review revision emails from the U.S. and update BILI.
  Track production progress.
  Provide technical drawing support.
  Verify BILI before production release.
