Sourcing & Procurement Executive

MISSION

Managing the company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending. Generating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategies. Analyzing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.

ACTIVITIES

Function: Sourcing strategy

-       Be responsible for identifying necessary products and services to support daily operations.

-       Assist with ASP (Annual Sourcing Plan) development; forecast and track ASP

-       Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices

-       Execute analyses and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy

-       Continually assess market conditions and develop sourcing strategies that maximize value to the Company

Function: Process, Policy

-       Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations

-       Write sourcing documentation and statements

-       Ensure compliance with Strategic Sourcing best practices

Function: Develop specification for RFP, RFQ

-       Working with internal departments to obtain necessary information about products, suppliers, or markets for analysis

-       Providing technical knowledge about materials, products, manufacturing processes, and other industry-specific knowledge for use in negotiations with suppliers

Function: Vendor relationship

-       Working with suppliers to develop new products or improve existing products to meet customer needs

-       Ensure that we always have supplies on hand

-       Track high risk components and supplier delivery performance

-       Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages sourcing skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

COMPETENCIES

Functional knowledge & experience:

- Previous working experience as a Sourcing Manager for 7 years and in other related fields such as Logistics, ưarehousing, production.

- Any additional training or certificate will be considered an advantage 

Functional skill:

- Ability to use MS Office to put together spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and Word documents

- Hands on experience with sourcing software, and SAP ERP

- Outstanding negotiation abilities.

- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills: ability to find solutions to challenges that arise during sourcing processes, develop a contingency plan

- Team player : clearly convey information to team members and understand their feedback

- Great communication, interpersonal and networking skills : be able to communicate with suppliers and clients

- Good relationship management to ensure that the vendors are reliable and provide high quality products

- Research skills to find suppliers and gather information about their products, find information about the company’s needs and the market trends.

- Analytical skills to evaluate data and make informed decisions about sourcing strategies
