Purchasing Manager (F&b Manufacturing, $1.500, Id 21280)

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Purchasing Manager (F&B Manufacturing, $1.500, ID 21280):

• Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with operational and business objectives.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of machinery, equipment, spare parts, maintenance items, and other indirect materials required for factory operations.
• Analyze purchasing trends and market conditions to support strategic sourcing decisions.
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop reliable domestic and international suppliers.
• Build long-term partnerships with key vendors to improve service quality, pricing, and supply reliability.
• Conduct supplier performance assessments and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Lead the sourcing and procurement process.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, payment conditions, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value for the company.
• Monitor procurement activities to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments to understand purchasing requirements and support operational continuity.
• Coordinate with Corporate Procurement teams regarding procurement policies, systems, reporting standards, and process improvements.
• Participate in procurement meetings and discussions with regional or group stakeholders when required.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and ethical sourcing standards.
• Prepare procurement reports, supplier evaluations, spending analyses, and budget forecasts.
• Support audit activities and maintain accurate procurement documentation.

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within manufacturing environments, preferably in food processing, agriculture, FMCG, or related industries.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or managerial procurement role.
• Proven track record in sourcing industrial machinery, equipment, spare parts, maintenance materials, and technical services.
• Good at English.
