1.     EHS

-        Manage the implementation and adherence to company’s EHS objectives and standards, and risk assessments within the Engineering department and areas of responsibility.

-        Oversee site risk activities within the plant to ensure plant compliance and timely completion of action plans.

-        Lead initiatives and projects focused on risk reduction and EHS performance enhancement within areas of responsibility and Engineering department, aligning with the plant's EHS objectives.

-        Drive the awareness and implementation of comprehensive EHS training programs within Engineering department, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

-        Support the plant's ISO 14001 certification and compliance efforts, ensuring alignment with company’s standards and best practices.

-        Achieve CO2 reduction & sustainability follow Group strategy and requirement.

-        Conduct periodic Task Audits.

-        Ensure the reporting process is followed strictly when Near Misses or First Aid incidents occur.

2.     Maintenance:

 -        Plan strategic maintenance aligns with the plant's operational goals, leveraging predictive and preventive maintenance techniques. Develop multi-year plans to improve Reliability to world class levels.

-        Develop and oversee the implement of maintenance procedures based on WCM Reliability Pillars, fostering a culture of "Zero Breakdown".

-        Drive machine performance, process optimization and product cost improvements aligned with plant strategy, utilizing WCM tools and Reliability Pillars.

-        Establish and maintain a drawing management system for equipment, tooling, products, and molds, ETC.

-        Lead the adoption of advanced maintenance technologies and methodologies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

-        Establish and oversee a comprehensive asset management system within areas of responsibility, ensuring the optimal lifecycle management of all plant equipment and machinery.

-        Drive initiatives to integrate maintenance activities with overall production planning, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.

-        Monitor and analyze maintenance KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing actions to enhance overall maintenance effectiveness.

-        Establish the framework for regular inspections of plant facilities and utilities, focusing on proactive identification and resolution of potential issues to ensure long-term operational efficiency.

-        Oversee the planning and execution of all repair and installation activities, ensuring correct prioritization and timely completion of all work orders and sets out work on a weekly or daily basis.

-        Oversees timely completion of breakdown root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation (eEWO).

-        Build the inventory management system for equipment and spare parts, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing downtime, coherent with the Professional Maintenance equipment requirements.

-        Review the implement of professional maintenance, achieving maximum plant uptime & supporting the production department in maintaining reasonable cost of operation.

-        Establish and oversee a comprehensive budget management for the Engineering department, leveraging data analytics to monitor expenses and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

-        Develop a library of documents on machinery and equipment.

3.     Project Management

-        Develop and implement a Capex control strategy, ensuring all investment projects of Engineering department aligned with the plant's investment strategies.

-        Accountable for departmental project budgets and deliverables. Secure and allocate appropriate resources and manage projects to meet plant’s objectives.

-        Lead the formulation and development of projects of Engineering department.  Provide direction and guidance to the project teams within areas of responsibility. Monitor progress on schedule, budget and technical output. 

-        Provide technical counsel and information to other departments as needed, fostering cross-functional collaboration.

-        Đảm bảo tính bền vững của các cải tiến đã hoàn thành bởi nhóm Engineering.

4.     WCM

-        Lead Reliability Pillar and Risk Prevention Pillar (Risk/Loss Prevention Plant coordinators), coordinating plant-wide risk and loss prevention initiatives to enhance operational resilience.

-        Provide support to other WCM Pillars such as IDG, IE, and PD, ensuring cohesive implementation across the Engineering department.

-        Drive the deployment of WCM tools within the Engineering department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

-        Lead involvement of Engineering department in WCM initiatives, promoting engagement and alignment with WCM principles.

-        Lead the implementation of PCS within the Engineering department and support PCS implementation with other departments, ensuring robust process management and control.

-        Progressively improves the Professional Maintenance status of all equipment on a prioritized basis using WCM techniques and practices.

5.     Innovation

-        Drive innovation in equipment and tools to enhance savings, safety, productivity, and overall performance.

-        Support product compliance to relevant standards and regulations within areas of responsibility.

-        Participate in research initiatives on products and materials to support improvements and the development of new products.

-        Oversee the development and integration of advanced equipment to support the production of new products, ensuring alignment with the plant's innovation and operational goals.

6.     Quality

-        Oversee the setup of machinery to ensure compliance with quality standards, and the identification and optimization of operating parameters to enhance overall efficiency and align with the plant's operational goals.

-        Drive and implement strategic initiatives to address and resolve process incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous improvement.

-        Support efforts to enhance product quality, leveraging advanced methodologies and cross-functional collaboration to achieve superior outcomes.

7.     People Management & Development

-        Lead the Engineering department to achieve departmental KPIs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in key operational metrics to meet and exceed the company's goals.

-        Develop and train the teams of Engineering department to ensure a competent and sustainable workforce, supporting to build a strong succession pipeline.

-        Establish and enhance core competencies for Engineering department, ensuring alignment with company’s strategies.

-        Design and oversee comprehensive training plans for the Engineering department, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.

-        Support and lead the People Development (PD) Pillar of Engineering department, ensuring the integration of best practices and innovative solutions to optimize departmental performance and effectiveness.

8.     Reporting & Others

-        Lead and make all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports within area of responsibility.

-        Other tasks as assigned by line manager and management team.

1.     Education

-        Bachelor’s or master’s degree of Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automation / Engineering) or related fields.

 2.     Experience

-        Possess at least 5 years of experience in relevant engineering roles, with a minimum of 2 years at a management level within the manufacturing industry.

-        Experience in WCM / TPM is highly preferred.

-        Experience in managing large-scale or complex projects within a manufacturing environment.

-        Experience with 5S, Reliability centered maintenance techniques and lean manufacturing.

-        Experience managing large spare parts inventory and preventive maintenance programs.
