Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially minded Pricing & Air Freight Staff to join our operations team. The primary focus of this role is freight rate management and bid preparation (pricing), with additional responsibility for supporting air export/import shipments. You will work closely with carriers, overseas agents, and internal teams to deliver competitive rate proposals and ensure seamless air freight operations.

Key Responsibilities

Ocean Freight: pricing & Bidding (Primary)

•Collect, monitor, and analyze ocean & air freight rates from carriers and overseas agents

•Prepare competitive rate proposals and bid submissions for customers and tenders

•Maintain and update the rate database; track validity, surcharges, and market trends

•Coordinate with sales team to ensure rate accuracy and timely quotation delivery

•Evaluate cost structures and recommend pricing strategies to maximize margins

Air Freight Operations (Secondary)

•Handle air export booking requests; confirm space and rates with GSAs

•Coordinate with consolidators, trucking teams, and documentation for seamless air shipments

•Track air shipments and proactively update customers on status and exceptions

•Ensure compliance with airline requirements, IATA regulations, and customs procedures

Requirements
•Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, with exposure to pricing/bidding or air operations
•Solid understanding of ocean and air freight products, Incoterms, and rate structures
•Experience preparing rate sheets, quotations, or tender bids is a strong advantage
•Proficient in MS Office (Excel in particular); familiarity with TMS or forwarding systems is a plus
•Strong written and spoken English — daily communication with overseas partners
•Analytical mindset: able to read market trends and translate them into actionable pricing
•Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable handling multiple quotes simultaneously
•Eager to learn and be able to work under time pressure.
•University or college graduate in Logistics, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or Economics
