IT Contract Management & Purchasing Specialist

Contract Management

• Oversee the management of all current and upcoming IT contracts, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with terms and conditions.
• Maintain an organized repository of IT contracts and agreements for easy access and auditing.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand contract requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate risks in IT contracts by reviewing terms and conditions and seeking legal or procurement advice as needed.

Procurement Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with the Procurement team to plan and process IT-related procurements effectively and in advance.
• Provide timely updates and forecasts to the Procurement team regarding upcoming purchasing needs.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures throughout the IT purchasing process.

Vendor Sourcing and Management

• Source, evaluate, and recommend vendors for IT goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to support favorable terms and service levels.
• Conduct market research to identify new vendors and assess competitive offerings.

Purchasing Activities

• Prepare and process purchase requests (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) for IT goods and services.
• Track and monitor the status of all IT purchases, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any issues.
• Work with the Finance and IT teams to ensure accurate budget tracking and alignment.

Policy Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure all contract and procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Provide regular reports and updates on contract statuses, procurement activities, and vendor performance.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cost savings in IT contract management and purchasing processes
