We are a small Consulting company based in Ho Chi Minh City. We offer consultancy and assistance to foreign entrepreneurs, companies, and individuals. Our services include legal, HR, accounting, administration, and relocation support. We are now searching for candidates for the Chief accountant position - a part-time flexible position (20 hours/week) and a guaranteed full-time position within 3 months.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards and regulations.
2. Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns, including value-added tax (VAT), corporate income tax (CIT), and other applicable taxes, in compliance with Vietnamese tax laws.
3. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
4. Audit Coordination: Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to facilitate the audit process, address audit findings, and implement recommendations for improvement.
5. Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, monitor liquidity, and optimize working capital management to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
6. Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting obligations, including submission of financial reports to government agencies and regulatory bodies.
Yêu cầu công việc
Requirements:
1. Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
2. Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
3. Professional certification: Holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred.
4. Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations: Strong understanding of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
5. Analytical skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
6. Attention to detail: Thoroughness and accuracy in financial reporting and record-keeping are essential.
7. Communication skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
8. Proficient in English, and Russian is an advantage.
